Luckiest Leprechauns

March was great, it flew by so fast I need these pictures to remember everything that happened!  We started the month off making a craft (of course) for the bulletin board.  I put different colors of green paint on a paper with a shamrock and the kiddos rolled bouncy balls through the paint and over the paper.  I always like doing this kind of painting at least once a year.

We started doing even more partner reading in class.  They all read so well and are excellent listeners, especially to each other.

One of our lessons in our writing class was writing a friendly letter.  We had written to Santa earlier this year but wanted to write another letter.  Each student got to pick who to write a letter to.  Letters were written to grandmas, cousins, friends, and moms.  We walked to the post office to mail our letters and we even had some replies mailed back to us at school.  Such a cool lesson.

Then you'll never guess what happened around the middle of March... ST. PATRICK'S DAY!! Unfortunately, St. Patrick's Day was on our Spring Break day so we did not get to try to catch the leprechaun.  But that sneaky guy came to our room anyway and messed our classroom up!  Look at all this evidence...
Animals in the desks

Even in Ms. Anglin's chair!

He left a message

Good news is that he left us Lucky Charms for a snack!
