100th Day Shenanigans...

I cannot believe our 100th day of school has come and gone!  It feels like yesterday that school started again.  It was a crazy day, let me tell you!  It started out with all of these OLD people showing up to school and saying they were First Graders.  I could not believe how much they have aged since the beginning of the year!

We got together with Kindergarten and 2nd grade to do some fun activities.  We counted to 100 a lot.

Listening to a story about the 100th Day of School

Everyone balanced on 1 foot for 100 seconds.
Dribbled 100 times.
Rested for 100 seconds.
Everyone brought in 100 items to hang on our bulletin board.  We had legos, pencils, crayons, ear tags, 100 piece puzzle, beads, pop tabs, and cotton balls.

We worked hard in the classroom making 100th Day crowns, glasses, and necklaces.  The crowns had 100 objects on them, the glasses were in the shape of 100, and the necklaces were made from 100 beads.

After the busy day, we all were all feeling just a little bit cRaZy.

I'm not sure about my students, but I sure slept well that night!  Here's to an amazing rest of the school year :)
