Ironman, Belle, and a Horse... oh my!

So Halloween got away from me!  Here are some things we did to hang in the hallway and decorate our classroom.

We had some very creative ghosts hanging out on our bulletin board!  As the board says, this class is spook-tacular!

We made owls out of left over scrap book paper to hang in the hallway.  They did a good job keeping an eye out for everyone!

We painted pumpkins to put in the windows of our classroom.  Everyone did an awesome job painting.  We had stripes, polka dots, color blocks, and even a Rapunzel!

Some ladies from 4H came to the school and talked to all of the elementary students.  They taught us what the 4 Hs are and what 4H is all about.  Then we got to make a 4 leaf clover with our hands!  That paint was cool :)

We worked together with the 2nd grade class to make Halloween Hands.  We filled plastic gloves with candy corn for fingernails, then popcorn the rest of the way.  Once we tied off the end of the glove we added a creepy spider ring to a finger.  We had a lot of fun making this project!

Here is the group dressed up on Halloween.  Nice picture then a scary (can't you tell?) picture.  This year there was a horse, Spider Girl, Belle, 2 Ironmans, Elsa, a swat team member, and a Monster girl in the 1st grade room.  We had a blast trick or treating at the nursing home, assisted living, and high school.

I think that is all for an October recap!

Think warm thoughts :)
